In March 2004 we officially opened our high school together with Lester House School. The new institution is called "St. George´s – Lester House Secondary School".

The Secondary School is located in Libertad (telephone: 27073558). Each school, St. George´s and Lester House, will obviously maintain their independence regarding Primary School (from Nursery on to Form VI).

Some years ago, both schools began to study the possibility of putting into practice this project.

We carry on our programmes of education both in English and Spanish respecting the individuality of each child in an atmosphere of respect, love, and friendship. It is with this spirit that we carry on the Secondary School, with effort and openness of objectives. Teachers of the highest professional qualifications and proved experience work together with us and expect a high academic achievement in a friendly atmosphere that cares for the needs of adolescents.

The courses are dictated according to the state Secondary Education programmes (approved in 1986). We also put emphasis on extracurricular courses such as arts, science, general culture and physical education.

The English courses are taught according to the highest levels of the British and American programmes and by the end of them students receive the corresponding international degrees given by Cambridge University, IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education).

Considering all this, St. George´s - Lester House Secondary School provides students with a modern, human, and up dated education that opens doors for a future full of varied possibilities.

The courses are taught in a full day timetable so as to comply with the demands of both programmes while considering extra activities such as campings, sports and other social activities which are so important for the growth of adolescents as members of a society.

Students from other institutions are also welcomed to share our educational proposal and enrich, at the same time, our own experience.
