Comic
On Wednesday, May 8th we received a very special visit during our Art lesson. Our Comic Club friends came to share a fantastic morning with us. Mauricio, Matías and Fernando taught what you have to know if you want to create your own comic character. First we were introduced to the three characters that appear in all comics and children stories: the main character (hero), the villain, and the secondary character.

We brainstormed characteristic that are present in all three characters and tried to identify these characteristics in heroes, villains and secondary characters of all times. Then, time came for us to get down to work and start creating our own characters based on the topic: the ecology. Little by little our works began to get shape and colour and fantastic ideas and creations resulted from that animated morning, from a supertrash villain with a gun that shot balls of paper and threw smoke through his mouth to a half- animal and half- men heroe that defended our planet with a vacume cleaner. Our masterpieces were scanned with a tablet and we could see how they gained colour digitally, just as the real comics!

We really enjoyed this wonderful instance and we are looking forward to see our works hanged on our school’s walls.
Together we did a Form II BROWN’S Acrostic:

Saint George’s Day: Acrostic
Significant knight Assisted a princess In need. He was a National hero who was Truly brave,
Gentle, kind, Extraordinary and Outstanding. He Rescued her from a Giant dragon with Enormous teeth. A ’ Symbol of England,
Defended the nation Against all evil. Yeah, yeah, hurray, hurray!

We started Public Speakings in Form II Brown!!!

We enjoyed our holidays with our friends and families. We want to share with you our beautiful drawings.

In Maths we worked with TIME and know we are working with the addition pairs that make 10.
There are some pictures you’ll enjoy. See you….
